A Walk in the Woods

But first, a cutie picture with Dougie the Duck, a new friend.
Well, actually Isabella's still too young to even figure out
what it is that has been strategically placed in her arms to
make it look like she's snuggling her new favorite toy.
When she's awake, she just tries to eat it.

Our mini outing to Muir Woods. We are still limited to only a few hours
out at a time with the baby, but it's soooo nice to get out!
Finally a beautiful day without smoke in the air!

studying up on metamorphosis

Isabella's new found skill is babbling.
While walking through the trails she cooed, "woo, woo".
I think she may have enjoyed the feeling of the breeze.

Happy 4th of July!

We spent the 4th (Isabella's first official holiday) in Mill Valley with my parents.
All of us wearing badly matching yellow? Not planned.

The torture begins...Mom dresses baby in funny hats.
Cowgirl Izzie.

Mom thinks it's funny, baby not so much.
Most of our day was spent at the Marin County Fair

Too much excitement for Isabella.

This is how these San Franciscans do 4th of July!!
